My first present

Jim and Jane invited Dad, Mom and me over for dinner last night. We all had a great time. I got to open my very first Christmas present. I thought the paper was so cool. And the present - a little round ball that lights up and moves on its own - is wonderful! These are the pictures Jane sent Mom this morning.

My Dad is so cool...

I love playing with my Dad. He flies me around the house and I kick my legs because I think it is so cool. He gives me fun shoulder rides too! I'm pretty lucky to have such a great Dad. I get so excited when he gets home from work. He is my best buddy.

My cousin, Ben

My cousin Ben came to stay overnight last week. I helped my Dad vaccuum before he came over. We had so much fun. I love to watch Ben and all the things he can do. He can crawl and walk behind my favorite toy. It's amazing. Someday I will start doing those things, although I am in no hurry. I got to take a bath with Ben, but he hated it. He doesn't much care for bathtime. I don't know why. I like it pretty good.

Noises Boys Make

My Mom says her little brother constantly made all kinds of noises when he was growing up. She doesn't get why boys - even Daddy - are always having to add sound effects to everything. She loves everything I do, so this is no different, I guess.

Happy Halloween!

My Mom made me a uniform for Halloween just like Daddy wears every weekend for college football. She made it out of one of Daddy's old uniforms. I look just like him! She took SO many pictures. After a while, it got a little old. I just wanted to check out the cool whistle that went with my uniform.

Lunch time...

I went to my Aunt Annie's house while Dad and Mom went to the Chiefs game. I went to church with them and then my cousin Brooklynn fed me my lunch. She did a great job, especially since I just wanted to suck my thumb. She did tell me not to mess with her bib that I borrowed. She said I might rip it and to leave it alone. Bounce! Bounce! Bounce!

I love to sit in my bouncy seat while Mommy is paying bills. She says I make the process much more enjoyable and funny. I am getting really good at standing now. I do not like "tummy time" at all, so I'll probably never crawl. But Daddy is working hard at getting me to take steps.

My Yummy Toes

I found my toes a few weeks ago and I am fascinated with them. My Mom thinks they're adorable for some reason. I am beginning to think she thinks I'm adorable no matter what. Anyway, she thought this was pretty funny.

My New Cousin

My Mom says I got a new cousin last week. Her name is Austyn Lynn. We went to see her in the hospital. She's pretty cute, but she doesn't say much. We stayed with Nana and I got to see my buddy Andrew. I am exactly one week older than he is. We had so much fun!

Good morning!

I love the mornings. I love to sit in front of the window and play with my toys. I have done this since I was born. I am always so happy. My Mom says sitting by me with her coffee is her favorite thing in the world.

Go Chiefs!

My Dad and Mom go to all the Chiefs games. My Dad is working with the officials this year so Mom's friend Jenny is using the other season ticket for each game. My Mom says raising me as a Chiefs fan might be a form of child abuse, but I still like to watch the games with them. Maybe by the time I am old enough to go with Mom they'll be good.

Concentration

I am getting pretty good at sitting up now. I like to play with Mr. Bear a lot. My Mom is always trying to take videos of me and always wants me to smile. I pretty much smile all the time except for when she turns on that camera. Anyway, here I am trying to concentrate on Mr. Bear.

I learned how to splash at my Aunt Lori's house last weekend. Mom wanted to catch it on video, but as soon as she started filming, I got a little camera shy. I don't know why I get this way because she has that thing focused on me all the time. I'll get used to it, I suppose.

My room

Miss Raegan,
My Mom said you wanted to see pictures of my room. She said to tell you her favorite time of the day is when she gets to come get me out of bed in the morning or after nap time. I am always so happy to see her. She says she misses me when I'm sleeping. Anyway, here is a video of my room. Mom made my curtains and my bedding and painted it all before I was born. I must be pretty special.

Jazz with my Mom and Dad

My Mom loves jazz music. Her friend Brian from church has a really good band that we went to see today. Then we went out to eat and went shopping. I was a good boy. Some old lady told my Mom that my socks were too tight and she wasn't very happy, but everything else was good.

Playing with my Dad

I like to play with my Dad. When he's around, I am so happy. I'm very lucky to have such a cool Dad. He is going to teach me how to paraglide, officiate football, golf and ride a unicycle. Mom gets embarrassed when he does that last one, but I think it's pretty neat.

My first time swinging...

Nana,
Today Mom took me to the park and I got to swing for the first time. It was really cool and I didn't want to leave. Mom took a video so you could see how much fun I had. Mom said to tell you thank you so much for letting us all stay at your house this weekend. We felt like we were on vacation at a resort!

Bath time

Bath time is always a fun experience - especially when my cousin Brooklynn comes over. My cat Daisy always joins me too. She thinks it's fun to watch the water splash. Daddy usually gives me my bath and we have a good time. It is one of my favorite times in the day because all Daddy's attention is on me.

Family Weekend

This weekend most of my Mom's extended family came to town for the Twins game. The Twins won Friday and Saturday so Papa was really happy. They didn't take me, but I had a good time with everyone the rest of the weekend. I hope Nana and Papa come back to town really soon.

Our camping trip

I went on my first camping trip in South Dakota. I had a lot of fun swimming even though the water was freezing. I love hanging out with my Papa and Nana and especially with my cousins. We got a cabin this year, so Mom and Dad were pretty excited about that. We were living in high style for campers this year! Here are some pictures from my trip.

Bananas???

Nana,

Mom makes me eat things that don't taste very good - like bananas. I am a good boy and eat them anyway. I really prefer prunes and peas, but I will try anything. I eat all my food when Daddy feeds me, but I start fussing halfway through if Mom feeds me. Daddy does the airplane and that's really cool.

Sitting Up - well, kind of...

Rolling over

Anderson loves to roll from front to back because he hates tummy time. He wanted to demonstrate this today.
